which Jane Austen book are you?

If you have any Jane Austen yet unread, add yourself between a chocolatier and whatever ghouls are haunting the Boston Public Library on my list of people I want to be.

I’ve completed all her novels, her collected short stories, her unfinished final work, and several of her letters (kind of fun how if enough time passes and you’re a big enough deal privacy becomes no longer a thing), and now all I can do is reread. And also make whatever this is.

May just SCREAMS Austen to me. Her books are light and lovely while feeling layered and edifying, like drinking a smoothie that allegedly has kale in it but really just tastes like coconut and pineapple and $14.

Nothing could be more perfect for this wonderful late-spring early-summer school’s-out-feeling time of year.
