You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.

In the bookstagram and blog days of yore, you used to get tagged in a post that would have anywhere between 1 and 100 prompts, and boom. You had your post.

I’m all on my lonesome coming up with this Substack stuff.

(A fact checker would point out that I almost never completed tags, and even when I did it was a fraction of them and in nothing that could possibly constitute a timely manner, but the perk of Substack is it’s a world of my own making and I can tell you stories in the tone of a grandparent claiming to walk to school every day uphill in the snow and no one can tell me otherwise.)

But right now is an exception, because we’re just about halfway through the year, which means I can use one of my favorite tags from the olden days:
