Once upon a time, I read 365 books in a year.
That year was 2022, and it was…not that easy. It was a lifetime goal of mine, so I called my shot. It involved clearing at least three hours a day out of my schedule, occasional reading binges, the seeking out of America’s shortest literary novels for hot girls, and one too many brushes with a complete crash-out.
But I did it, and not even by halves. I read 108,000 pages, which puts my average read right around 297. I mean, one of them was Anna Karenina, so. I could’ve gone easier on myself is all I’m saying.
Even today, when I am back to my reading status quo (200-250 books per year), the question I get the most is how I read so much.
