I was staring down the proverbial barrel of yet another grumpy Substack post, in which I recommend the same 10 books I love dearly (like I always do) and complain about not finding any new favorites so far this year.
But then I thought…what if I become an angel? What if I put out so much kindness, and love, and generosity into the universe that the powers that be are no longer able to deny me my next five-star read?
